My name is Curt and I enjoy Parks on the Air (POTA)! POTA is responsible for me getting back into HAM radio in September 2021 after being QRT for 15 years. My POTA Elmer is Mike, CU3HY. Mike and I started chatting since we often were hunting the same stations and Mike has really helped me "turbo charge" my station and hunting skills. I'm also a POTA activator and love the pileups, especially in the infrequently activated parks in the Western USA. And finally, I'm a big fan of the Yaesu FTdx10. I upgraded from a 25-year-old Yaesu FT-900AT to the Yaesu FTdx10 and what an upgrade! I do a lot of collaboration with my other virtual Elmer, Doug, N4HNH, on the Yaesu FTdx10.
