My passion for radio began in the 1980s with CB, continued through my service in the Armed Forces working with Radar and Combat Net Radio, and now I’m focused on sharing the excitement of ham radio outdoors. Not every activation goes to plan, but that’s part of the fun—I show both the challenges and the successes so you can see what portable ham radio is really like.
